
Passionate early age of 10 years, has touched for the first time a computer with the Apple IIc assembled by his uncle. From there through the Commodore 64 and Amiga began its first serious programming experiments in BASIC and assembler.
After high school he specializes in programming and became a reference for the Clipper community releasing also some applications for Windows 3.1 (developed in C language) in the public domain (freeware).
In 1995 he worked as consultant for the City of Turin Council and he developed various applications in Access, Visual Basic. He also worked on one of the first applications on the Web (real time election results on the Internet for 1996 Policy and 1997 Administrative elections)
At the end of 1995 he was a Java pioneer in CSI Piemonte and collaborated in the definition of Object Oriented (MVC) frameworks to be applied to the first Java projects with Three-Tier architectures.
Gian Luca engaged in Atos Origin (now Engineering) at the end of 1997. Throughout the ages Gian Luca increased his experience and his consultant experience acquiring more management knowledge and developing many project for e-Business, System Integration and System Design areas. Technology evolution and bigger development team permitted to Gian Luca to acquire more skills in Project Management and Risk Management.
Since 1999 he managed his projects according to the ISO9001 standard.
He has deep knowledge of Java and related technologies (XML, Web Services, EAI) and he has a high level of knowledge of Microsoft (Visual Basic, ASP, c#, .NET, Sharepoint) technologies; he worked on the best Application Servers (WebSphere, Oracle, Bea) and databases (Oracle, DB2, SQLServer).
With the mission to Create Applications, and not only to develop, Gian Luca applies its knowledge in a wide spectrum of business and operational areas. He is always critical and sensitive to the Code and the Architectures, but also to Design (Look'n'Feel and Graphics) and Usability in applications.
He is a great observer of trends in the computer world and he is able to accomodate and quickly learn new technologies, that arise on the market, in a rational and positive way.
Since May 2005 he is consultant at CSI Piemonte and Software Development Manager in adMin srl. In adMin he has designed and implemented MonLic, a tracking licenses web application, and GECO, another Web Application for managing code servers calculating in a GRID environment. During this experience he is speaker at Java Conference (Click here to download the presentation - in Italian language - ).
After adMin acquisition by Tech Value Spa, Gian Luca ends its experience in adMin and establish 21Style, his first owned company.

21Style, Software With Style, is a new company established by Gian Luca at the beginning of 2008. It represents the factory for all future projects conducted by Gian Luca. In particular 21Style starts its activities with the launch of the project codenamed "Dawn Project". Currently Dawn Project is a blog and a site that in time reveals all the features about the upcoming product.
